I need to generate payslips for all employees in a batch job - not individually, which is far too slow and cumbersome.

Each payslip is generated as a separate PDF and needs to be reviewed individually before being emailed to the employee.
There are 3 steps in this process: generate, review and send. You're asking to "generate payslips in a batch job", which points towards the first step. Would a "Generate All" action that prepares all payslips for a pay run with a press of a button solve your problem?
